NEO on Samurai TV - December 31, 2009, Tokyo - (2 hrs)

December 31, 2009, Tokyo - Korakuen Hall (976 fans)

1. Aya Yuki -vs- Natsumi Kawano - (Kawano's Debut) [1/2*]
--- Kawano's official debut and she didn't really impress. Like most NEO rookies her offence was super weak and Yuki had no problems powering her down again and again almost playing with her. Simple win for Yuki and a bad debut for Kawano.
3:03 of 6:00 - Yuki pinned Kawano after a Kamikaze Roll

2. Fuka & Asami Kawasaki -vs- Hikaru Shida & Tsukasa Fujimoto [*]
--- Amateurs doing fanzy wrestling. A happy match with the usual weak stuff and some "oh, wow, she knows how to do a move" moments . And Asami Kawasaki is back. She was one of Jd' model like wrestlers. I remember her. More for her beauty then her wrestling skills though. Anyway, Fuka with these names is the natural "star" and she slamed the tall one down for the 3 with that swinging slam of hers.
5:11 of 8:00 - Fuka pinned Shida after the F Crash slam

3. Hiroyo Matsumoto -vs- Dump Matsumoto -vs- Miyako Matsumoto - (3-Way) [3/4*]
--- Matsumoto's! And watching old Dump beat up that bloody Ice Ribbon balerina bitch made the match. Sadly she wasn't violent enough with her. And once Dump took a walk in the crowds running the fans off Hiroyo took care of the leftovers that was Miyako.
4:33 of 4:33 - Hiroyo pinned Miyako after the stomach buster

4. Kenny Omega -vs- Natsuki*Taiyo [*]
--- Mixed-gender match with Kenny Omega in NEO against tiny Natsuki?! Ok, who came up with this booking idea? Omega gave Natsuki enough armdrag counters and a Ligerbomb, but otherwise didn't have much problem and was smug about it. And then he killed the girl with a head-drop Dragon Suplex.
5:42 of 9:40 - Omega defeated Natsuki by KO after a Dragon Suplex

5. 10-Person Royal Rumble (Woman Army v West Gate Pro-Wrestling Army) [1/2*]
--- Comedy wrestlers from the West Gate parody promotion and NEO comedy girls and it ended in a draw as the fake Inoki and Tanny as the last two wrestlers fell to the floor at the same time. So they got a result by doing parodies....West Gate won that one. Funniest part was the fake Baba being so slow on entering the ring that the next entry came in before him!
11:07 of 23:38 - The 10-Person Royal Rumble ended in a Draw
The West Gate wrestlers won visa parodys

6. Mima Shimoda & Kyoko Kimura & Atsuko Emoto & Tomoka Nakagawa -vs- Mio Shirai & Io Shirai & Makoto & Yukari Ishino [* 3/4]
--- Shimoda joioning forces with old enimies RA now that Etsuko Mita has retired. And they made a ruthless team taking on the more innocent. They were nearly unstoppable for the little girls, but the Shirais and Makoto did get some offensive periods aswell. Wild action, but not always pretty or perfect. Rather sloppy at times, but hey it's 2009 so what can one expect. In the end Shimoda landed some weak Tiger Suplexes on Makoto to end the match.
4:20 of 15:07 - Shimoda pinned Makoto after a second rope Tiger Suplex

7. Emi Sakura -vs- Kyoko Inoue [* 1/4]
--- What the hell?! Kyoko lose in less then 5 minutes to Emi Sakura?! They went straight for the damage with Sakura leeping off the top to the outside like a mad woman! That weakend Kyoko down effectively. And once the cradle part started Sakura planted a rather stomach hight cross-bodypress to beat the NEO queen. This is the closest anyone has been to squashing Kyoko Inoue...EVER! I guess that means Ice Ribbon rule the joshi universe now?!
4:45 of 4:45 - Sakura pinned Inoue with a cross-bodypress

8. Nanae Takahashi & Kana (c) -vs- Yoshiko Tamura & Ayumi Kurihara - (NEO Tag Title) [** 1/2]
--- First defence for the Red Passion team and they're up against a team who're having their 3rd try at the NEO Tag belts as NEO star Tamura takes Kurihara as her partner. And it was a good chice for a couple of reasons. Kurihara now looks way better then Tamura who doesn't seem to have any fire or energy left to wrestle so Kurihara becomes the focal point of the match and looked like a real star. This helped the match quality because Tamura wasn't bringing it. And this match for a happy Kurihara success story as she fought against the odds and beat off the Passion Red beating and gave just as much back with little support from the old NEO has-been. It was mainly Kana and Kurihara who was laying in the shit with Kana stiffing Kurihara and Kurihara taking it as a pro coming back giving what she had back. And once Kurihara started getting in her bigger moves it was done. A sort of double-knee press, like CIMA's Meteora, except she was on Kana's shoulder and not the top rope, before pressing Kana down for the pinfall. That gives Tamura her 3rd NEO Tag Title and Kurihara gets her first NEO belt!
16:42 of 21:32 - Kurihara pinned Kana with a double-kneepress. Tamura & Kurihara become the 12th NEO Tag Champions.

HEART LINE on COMM - December 31, 2009, Tokyo - (1 1/2 hrs)

December 31, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING

1. Toru Owashi & Hercules Senga -vs- Toru Sugiura & Michio Kageyama [*]
--- Two young guys against a more established side. Somewhat fun seeing the kids try and take them on, but it had to end the way it did was a secure win for the other side.
8:31 of 8:32 - Senga pinned Kageyama after a modified neckbreaker

2. Apple Miyuki -vs- Tsutomu Oosugi -vs- Mitamega Kunihiko - (3-Way) [1/2*]
--- That unknown guy was doing all kinds of comedy to take down the match and it wasn't award enough that he lost.....
7:21 of 7:21 - Miyuki & Oosugi pinned Kunihiko after a top rope bodypress from Apple

3. Antonio Honda & Sasaki&Gabban -vs- Yuki Sato & Yusuke Shiranami [3/4*]
--- Didn't captivate much as the Italian 4 Horsemen guys took care of the little people. Sato is ok, but his partner was a waste of time generating very little interest into the wrestling they were doing. So fitting that he jobbed.
13:08 of 13:10 - Sasaki pinned Shiranami after a Italian DDT

4. Takashi Sasaki & GENTARO & Kamui -vs- Shinobu & Keita Yano & Masato Inaba [* 1/2]
--- Quite fun at times. While it suffered from a lot of the same dead atmosphere as the rest of the matches on this show it still had enough qualities to keep one satisfied. Enough to become the best match of a otherwise dull show.
17:56 of 17:57 - GENTARO pinned Inaba after a top rope elbow drop

5. Mineo Fujita & Susumu -vs- Yusaku Obata & Daisuke Masada [*]
--- Standard stuff and not too captivating. Just a match for the boys with Fujita grabing the expetced win.
15:34 of 15:35 - Fujita pinned Masada after a Swanton Bomb

6. Minoru Fujita & Takuya Sugawara -vs- Naoki Tanizaki & Madoka [*]
--- Again the absolute standard. Decent wrestling, but not all that awarding. The Zero-One side of Fujita & Sugawara takes care of the wannabe pretty boys after a long and not so engaging match-up when Sugawara drops the former K-Dojo wrestler Madoka down for the pin.
17:20 of 17:21 - Sugawara pinned Madoka after the Shiisanputa

COMMENTS: Apple Miyuki's HEART LAND really has no heart or soul.

BJPW/DDT/KAIENTAI DOJO on Samurai TV - December 31, 2009, Tokyo - (3 hrs)

December 31, 2009, Tokyo - Korakuen Hall (2,010 fans)

1. Great Kojika & Mighty Inoue & Tiger Toguchi & Goro Tsurumi & Gran Hamada -vs- Taka Michinoku & Sanshiro Takagi & Poison Sawada & Mens Teioh & Abdullah Kobayashi - (Now Leaders v. New Leaders; 5 v 5 Elimination Match) [*]
--- Old old guys against veterans on the scene. Bosses unite and the young bosses lose to the very old guys. Nice to see that old Tiger Toguchi/Kim Duk still kick ass! Goro had more difficulties moving around. And a weak Kojika steals the win pinning Taka! Good fun, but nothing more.
10:12 of 14:30 - Kojima in the lone survivor last eliminating Taka Michinoku

2. Danshoku Dino -vs- Kota Ibushi -vs- Kenny Omega -vs- Michael Nakazawa - (4-Way; Falls Count Anywhere Street Fight Match) [3/4*]
--- Not too perverted, but it was fun seeing Dino try a Shiranui and land on his head! The match ended with Omega and Ibushi kissing as Dino took care of Michael quite easily. Perhaps the coolest bit was Nakazawa and Omega fight in the domino set-up teasing a destruction which had to come....
10:30 of 13:07 - Dino pinned Nakazawa after a Danshoku Driver

3. MIYAWAKI & Shiori Asahi & Saburo Inematsu -vs- Kengo Mashimo & Daigoro Kashiwa & Hiro Tonai [**]
--- The Kaientai Dojo offer match between the Omega vs Monster Plant groups. And it's a good little action match and a decent introduction of current K-Dojo and the current feuds going on there. Kengo was as aggresive as ever and Saburo looks to get his career back on track looking the strongest on his team including winning with a nicely executed Death Valley.
11:03 of 13:19 - Inematsu pinned Tonai after a Death Valley Bomb

4. Ryuji Ito & Shadow WX & Jaki Numazawa -vs- Takashi Sasaki & Jun Kasai & The Winger -vs- Yuko Miyamoto & Masashi Takeda & Isami Kodaka - (3-Way; Light Tubes Death Match) [* 1/2]
--- Big Japan violence match. Kind of their standard and a little rushed. You'll find loads of better light tubes offering from these guys the last few years, so this wasn't anything special. Ito picks up the win Dragon Splash and light tube style!
9:06 of 10:57 - Ito pinned Isami after a top rope light tube bodypress

5. Shuji Ishikawa & Yoshito Sasaki & Yuji Hino -vs- Daisuke Sekimoto & KUDO & KAZMA [** 1/2]
--- Hard hitting as you'd expect featuring the muscle guys from Big Japan, Union Pro/DDT and Kaientai Dojo clashing hard with headbutts, lariats, knees and what else that hurts. Not a super build-up, but it was stiff enough to crinch as the DDT and K-Dojo champs battled it out. At the end the fight shifted to Ishikawa and Sekimoto after Sekimoto had accidentally suplexed his own partner out of the match. Sekimoto wasn't strong enough to take care of the KO-D Champ and was taken care of with a very powerful powerbomb.
20:06 of 21:30 - Ishikawa pinned Sekimoto with a powerbomb

6. 108-Person Rumble Royal [* 1/2]
--- This one is like the old massive NEO Rumbles where they dress up as different characters to fill in amount of wrestlers needed. Very little serious. It's all about who's the next one in when it comes to these kinds of spectacles and since there are so many guys from Big Japan, Kaientai Dojo and DDT in this one the eliminations doesn't really mean much. Only who's next in. Just about the only elimination that mattered was when Kaientai Dojo's Kengo Mashimo was knocked out off the apron after starting the match and fighting for survivial over 1 hour and 20 minutes! The match lasted 5 more minutes and it's clearly Jun Kasai who was stealing the show at the end taking care of nobody-gimmick Great Kirara to win one of the biggest Royal Rumbles in history. And during this they also celebrated New Years which happend midway through the match, so in a way this is also the first match of 2010!
85:00 of 85:12 - Jun Kasai win the 108-Man Royal Rumble

COMMENTS: Fun New Years show, but it lacked the explosion that other indy New Years shows has had before. The 108-Man Rumble was a fun idea, but a match like that's never going to be good as far as wrestling goes.

FUKA MATSURI 10 on COMM - April 29, 2009, Tokyo - (2 hrs)

April 29, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (300 fans)

1. Natsuki*Taiyo -vs- Kazumi Shimouma [3/4*]
--- Why let someone as annoying as Shimouma look that credible. She's a real turn-off and the most noisy girl in joshi. I'm glad Natsuki brought the highlights but Shimouma got way too much forced stuf in before Natsuki took it home.
11:02 of 11:03 - Natsuki pinned Shimouma with a Ligerbomb

2. Bullfight Sora -vs- Small Giant Baba -vs- Fuka Kid - (3-Way) [1/4*]
--- Baba comedy with the cow and mini-me Fuka. At least it was fairly short.....
7:21 of 7:31 - Sora pinned Baba with a small package

3. Caribbean KIM & Caribbean RUM -vs- Hiroyo Matsumoto & Misaki Ohata [*]
--- The pirates are back. And with the usual toy swords, pink wigs and plastic pumpkins. Silly, but it did feature a good share of running around doing moves aswell so it was semi-entertaining in it's stupidity. Kimura gets to win after they'd landed the dreaded Caribbean Impact.
12:44 of 11:36 - KIM pinned Ohata after a Caribbean Impact

4. Fuka -vs- Ayumi Kurihara [* 1/2]
--- Then for the attraction! Fuka facing young hope Kurihara. And it actually could have been good. They started kind of slow which would be a good thing for a long climatic build up, but once the match started moving in a more normal way it was over in no-time?! Man, was I disappointed because the match had thus far been solid and could have gone somewhere, but to me it still felt like the early feel-out phase when Fuka landed her enzuigiri-like kick for the win.
11:18 of 11:14 - Fuka pinned Kurihara after the Doll F headkick

FIESTA - March 29, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING

5. Fuka -vs- Yumi Ohka [**]
--- Part of the FIESTA LUCHA tour of Ultimo Dragon. And it's the last 2 aces of the old Jd' Star promotion fighting it out in a serious and competitive. And it got fairly good. Not always interesting or first class, but they got a sense of importance out of it giving us a bunch of near falls landing their finishers and cradles as the time limit was expiring. But naturally it ended a draw. You could sense that from the start really. But a positive showing from the two.
15:08 of 15:00 - Fuka wrestled Ohka to a 15:00 Time Limit Draw

- Clips of Fuka training and modeling in China.

NKPWA - March 21, 2009, Seoul, South Korea

6. Fuka -vs- Kazuki -vs- Ji-Hye Kim - (3-Way) [1/4*]
--- Ji-Hye Kim a Korean Diva wrestler! And worse then probable any of her American equals! God, she fucked up just about anything happening here. It was one hell of clusterfuck of a match that semi-accomplished Japanese diva wrestler Fuka and veteran nobody Kazuki almost gave up on Kim. They were just helpless in saving this match from disaster and I hope I never see Kim again unless it's in a porn movie. Fuka wins with a missed headkick.
4:10 - Kim & Fuka pinned Kazuki after a top rope rolling senton from Kim
5:58 of 10:25 - Fuka pinned Kim after a headkick

COMMENTS: Fuka's April '09 show didn't offer much and one should have expected more from that main event. A couple of bonus matches with the FIESTA match being quite good.

REVOLUCION AMANDOLA on COMM - May 2, 2009, Tokyo - (1 3/4 hrs)

May 2, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (202 fans)

1. Aki Kanbayashi -vs- Apple Miyuki [*]
--- Old Miss Mongol almost dominating Apple. Both with the bitch talkin' and bitch slappin'. I was expecting a big Apple comeback or a lucky cradle win for her after the way Aki had this under control, but that didn't happen. No, Aki more or less humiliated Apple making her submit in a helpless fight for her.
9:49 of 9:49 - Kanbayashi made Miyuki submit to a Mexican Submission hold

2. GOEMON -vs- Tomoka Nakagawa [3/4*]
--- Old FMW'er GOEMON having a slow beat-down of the weakest of the RA's. Only some tiny moments of interesting stuff happening before boy beats girl...as expected.
13:13 of 13:13 - GOEMON pinned Nakagawa after a Pedigree

3. Atsuko Emoto -vs- Ayumi Kurihara - (2-Count Rule) [* 3/4]
--- The 2-count rule! And that guarantees some excitement and it did create a solid atmosphere for this one as both where getting some near 2-counts along the way with the rush of urgency. Kurihara was looking good, but Emoto is still much more established and took care of business at the end with a brainbuster which probable would have been a three anyway as it's one of Emoto's main finishers.
7:31 of 7:30 - Emoto pinned Kurihara after a brainbuster

4. Atsuko Emoto -vs- Akino - (No Pinfall Rule) [* 1/4]
--- Hardly super exciting until the time limit was starting to expire. Too slow start for my liking. They used their ARSION and Battlarts experience to try and make a decent submission fight. But in a way the fire was missing and we got a, almost, bore draw.
10:00 of 10:00 - Emoto wrestled Akino to a 10:00 Time Limit Draw

5. Aja Kong -vs- Atsuko Emoto - (Falls Count Anywhere Hardcore Match) [** 3/4]
--- This 3rd and final match for Emoto on this show was sure brutal and they didn't hold much back at all making it quite a sectacular viewing the way Aja kept smashing chairs over Emoto's head. Good old fashioned violence! And Emoto was up for it with the brawling giving Aja some of her own medicine landing chained spinkicks, moonsault footstomp with Aja on a table on the outside. But Aja was always one step ahead and no anger from Emoto was going to stop the veteran brawler tearing Emoto apart. And the ending was a fine one as Aja was in the stands brainbustering Emoto off through a table on the rampway to get the three count and deserved win. Real good spirit in this fight!
18:00 of 18:00 - Kong pinned Emoto after a brainbuster through a table

6. Takashi Sasaki & Masashi Takeda -vs- Kyoko Kimura & Yuko Miyamoto - (Light Tubes Death Match) [** 1/2]
--- Light tubes BLOODFEST! As you can imagine Kimura played a large part in this one and Miyamoto was barely there to be seen as it was all about the powerful girl getting beat up with an occational comeback including attepting a Firebird light tubes splash. None of Kimura's big offensive moves was optimal, but the beat down of her was so that's where the excitement layed as they got bloodied up for disguisting images. They had some original light tube ideas for this one. Electric fans swinging the light tubes before someone was sent into the corner smashing it effectively. The end saw Sasaki do his light tubes violence taking care of Kimura with a headkick with light tubes placed next to Kimura's head.
20:05 of 20:05 - Sasaki pinned Kimura after a light tube headkick

COMMENTS: A fairly good show produced by the Revolucion Amandola with Aja vs Emoto really giving us a stiff fight while the main even gave up the blood.

WAVE on COMM - WAVE COLLECTION 4: January-March 2009 - (3 1/4 hrs)

January 4, 2009, Tokyo - Shinjuku FACE (358 fans)

1. Gami -vs- Kayo Fujimori [1/2*]
--- This was Fujimori's re-debut or something. I know basically nothing about her. She's got good size, but up against Gami and her guidence she wasn't going to look very good. Basic stuff with the lazy Gami rutine and desperation attacks from Fujimori until she had to lose.
7:12 of 11:28 - Gami made Fujimori submit to a Crippler Crossface

2. Kyoko Kimura & Shuu Shibutani & Misaki Ohata & Tomoka Nakagawa -vs- Ayumi Kurihara & Ayako Sato & Moeka Haruhi & Bullfight Sora [* 1/2]
--- A energetic joshi sprint. Loads of dropkicks and basic stuff with everybody running around. Sadly a lot of it was also weak. The match was good when it was Kurihara against Shibutani. It was basically they the match was about as they fought for the finish with Shibutani upsetting Kurihara with a cool little roll-up.
10:32 of 13:06 - Shibutani pinned Kurihara with a modified side roll-up

3. Mima Shimoda -vs- Yumi Ohka [* 1/4]
--- Beauty veteran vs WAVE's beauty, but as we always know - the veteran always wins. And that was the case here too as Shimoda countered Ohka's cross-arm submission into a cradle win. It was a fairly stubborn match, but it was ok at times. They didn't get the most out of the effort, but at least it was a serious fight.
10:34 of 16:31 - Shimoda pinned Ohka with a modified La Magistral

4. Gami & Azumi Hyuga -vs- Ayako Hamada & Akino [* 1/4]
--- With great workers as Hyuga, Hamada and Akino you have to have Gami ruin and steal the show. With her keeping the match down the match never reached it's potential. They played it out that there was trouble in the Gami/Hyuga camp with things backfiring and them looking angry at each other while Gami got a trashing from Hamada, but naturally the boss got her win rolling Ayako up in a inside cradle giving the match the worst possible result.
13:08 of 23:39 - Gami pinned Hamada with a small package

January 21, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (162 fans)

5. Apple Miyuki -vs- Bullfight Sora [1/4*]
--- 3-times lose for the cow.....
1:07 of 1:25 - Miyuki pinned Sora with a La Magistral
1:21 of 1:20 - Miyuki pinned Sora with a modified Euroean Clutch
1:44 of 2:07 - Miyuki pinned Sora with a small package

6. Ayumi Kurihara & Shuu Shibutani -vs- Tomoka Nakagawa & Moeka Haruhi [3/4*]
--- Not too impressive in execution as Haruhi was focused here trying her best to look good. Of course she is not good, but she was trying for something that was not possible. She did try some footstomp into legdrop moves without those looking very good either. The others didn't do all that much to highen the quality, but still did enough to keep some of it watchable before Shibutani got a Northern Light Suplex win over the weak one.
9:02 of 13:17 - Shibutani pinned Haruhi after a Northern Light Suplex

January 31, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (148 fans)

7. Ayumi Kurihara & Shuu Shibutani -vs- Gami & Yumi Ohka [*]
--- Shibutani's push continues and she has a competitive match with the boss of the company trading finishers and cradles with Gami for a good share of the bout until getting the upset with a huracanrana to beat Gami. Decent match at times, but a little dull. At least the result was positive!
11:52 of 20:26 - Shibutani pinned Gami with a huracanrana

February 1, 2009, Nagoya Diamond Hall (268 fans)

8. Azumi Hyuga -vs- Ayumi Kurihara [*]
--- On paper this looked like a very interesting match-up, but in practice it ended up being just another veteran vs rookie style bout with the basics coming from Kurihara and Hyuga controling things easy, including fooling Kurihara with a easy cradle win. Disappointing from two such good wrestlers of different generations.
8:20 of 9:25 - Hyuga pinned Kurihara with the Gannosuke Clutch

February 15, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (153 fans)

9. Ran Yu Yu & Toshie Uematsu -vs- Bullfight Sora - (Handicap) [1/2*]
--- The cow gets beat again. This time by the established team of Ran & Uematsu in a handicap situation.
6:50 of 9:57 - Uematsu pinned Sora after a double-team bodypress

10. Gami & Moeka Haruhi -vs- Mio Shirai & Io Shirai [1/2*]
--- It's usually fun seeing the Shirai sisters, but this was just boring. And a lazy lariat win for the boss.
9:31 of 15:09 - Gami pinned Mio with a lariat

February 28, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (164 fans)

11. Fuka -vs- Bullfight Sora [1/4*]
--- Sora and Fuka? Could this be any good. Nah.... plus there was problems with this DVD so that the end wasn't shown.
6:41 of 10:01 - Fuka pinned Sora with a Gedo Clutch/*No Finish Shown - DVD Trouble

12. Gami & Mio Shirai & Io Shirai -vs- Yumi Ohka & Shu Shibutani & Moeka Haruhi [*]
--- Joshi action match. Sadly there didn't seem to be much passion in this one with everything looking very staged. Even the cool things they tried to do, like the sunset flip assisted German and Haruhi's fooptstomp/legdrop, looked shit. Still it wasn't a total waste as it did give Mio a rare win over someone semi-established even if she did get a little help from the lady that has to ruin nearly all these matches - Gami.
12:10 of 18:10 - Mio pinned Ohka with a reversed cradle

March 15, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (201 fans)

13. Saki Maemura -vs- Shuu Shibutani [*]
--- This one happend not long before Maemura retired and she looks pretty broken down as usual always touching her back and not moving too fluent. The match was decent at times with Maemura being in control at least trying to bring some nice moves before rolling Shibutani over in a cradle for the pin.
7:07 of 10:44 - Maemura pinned Shibutani with a modified La Magistral

14. Cherry & Arnold Sukesukejaneka -vs- Bullfight Sora & Albert Nekpuruguru [1/4*]
--- What a load of rubbish. Two invisible wrestlers and the Ironman Title on the line changing hands a bunch of times before Cherry got the final pinfall just before the 10-min mark.
7:12 of 9:59 - Cherry pinned Sora with a German Suplex to become the 772 Ironman Champion.

15. Ayako Hamada -vs- Ayumi Kurihara [* 3/4]
--- Kurihara really let Hamada run this match looking very submissive against the established star. So much that it was hard to take Kurihara seriously when she did land her throat slam suplexes and speciality cradles. Because this was more about how much Kurihara could live through Ayako's attacks. This fight did create some underdog sympathy for Kurihara and that's what the match lived on as she kicked out and tried to show her passion as the hard blows came. Kind of surprising that Hamada let Kurihara kick out of the AP Cross, but Hamada just kept on landing them to beat the wonderkid.
10:07 of 13:42 - Hamada pinned Kurihara with a AP Cross

16. Azumi Hyuga -vs- Moeka Haruhi [3/4*]
--- Easy match for JWP star Hyuga. Haruhi tried to show some fighting spirit, but it hardly looked like fighting at all and Hyuga could just trash her down until Haruhi was done.
7:38 of 11:56 - Hyuga pinned Haruhi with a cross-arm German Suplex

March 20, 2009, Osaka World Hall (199 fans)

17. Magnitude Kishiwada -vs- Gami [*]
--- Mixed-gender match with Kishiwada being way to nice to the girl how pays the wages in WAVE. But this also made Gami focus a tiny bit harder then usual, so while it wasn't a great match, it was still a less annoying Gami performance. Plus it was good that Kishiwada gave her some pain before beating the old lady with a Fire Thunder.
9:09 of 13:55 - Kishiwada pinned Gami after a Fire Thunder piledriver

March 25, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (144 fans)

18. Yumi Ohka & Haruka Matsuo -vs- Kaoru & Toshie Uematsu [**]
--- Finally a match on this DVD that's more aggressive and nobody to drag it down. No classic match, but a solid hardworking one where they didn't waste any time going on attack. And it served a purpose of giving Ohka a much needed win over someone with more experience then her as she pinned Uematsu with a Tiger Suplex. This match did the trick of feeling like a good battle aswell as build Ohka, who is one of the WAVE promotions main focuses, a level-up boost.
12:30 of 21:19 - Ohka pinned Uematsu with a Tiger Suplex

COMMENTS: Finally some WAVE stuff popping up. This DVD shows the important matches from January to March 2009. Nothing too great, but you get the impression what WAVE is about. And they are really looking like the closed down Jd' Star promotion the way the product is.

WAVE on COMM - WAVE COLLECTION 5: March-June 2009 - (3 1/2 hrs)

April 4, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (182 fans)

1. 9-Women Uematsu Royal Rumble [*]
--- Quite a fun rumble in it's low-ki way of everybody using old Toshie Uematsu costumes from her old green rookie-wear to her more later punk style. This was also for the Ironman belt which Haruhi ended up winning in a lucky double pinfall situation.
8:58 of 17:46 - Moeka Haruhi win the 9-Women Uematsu Royal Rumble

2. Nanae Takahashi -vs- Yumi Ohka [**]
--- Ohka facing another established joshi star and as usual she does get beat in singles competition. But not without a fight. Though it was Nanae who was doing most of the offencive fighting. Ohka did do a good profile while being out-matched, but wasn't strong enough to fight off the more powerful Nanae. Though Nanae wasn't strong enough to catch a flying Ohka on one of their main spots of the match. Still it was a solid battle going back and forth for the pinfall attempts until Nanae hit the 'racca.
9:39 of 19:04 - Takahashi pinned Ohka with a Nanaracca

April 15, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (173 fans)

3. Yumi Ohka & Haruka Matsuo & Saki Maemura -vs- Ayumi Kurihara & Shu Shibutani & Ayako Sato [* 3/4]
--- Started out kind of silly in true modern joshi way, but once they got to the action portion of the match it was quite good actually. Too bad they didn't take the whole thing seriously. The retiring girls Maemura & Matsuo get win in their final match in WAVE as they team with Ohka who actually gets the win. No real surprise as this is her own generation she's facing. Shibutani took a hard beating at the end and looked done for once Ohka landed the Tiger Suplex.
10:20 of 11:21 - Ohka pinned Shibutani with a Tiger Suplex

April 19, 2009, Sapporo Teisen Hall (310 fans)

4. Akino -vs- Shuu Shibutani [*]
--- Decent but at the same time nothing special. It was a veteran vs rookie mentality match-up that we see too often on todays joshi scene. At least Akino isn't a selfish lady and gave Shibutani plenty of chances to look good in defeat. The end came a little out of the blue for me, but the backdrop suplex did land good.
5:35 of 11:56 - Akino pinned Shibutani after a backdrop suplex

April 29, 2009, Tokyo - Shinjuku FACE (242 fans)

5. Kana & Chihiro Oikawa -vs- Shuu Shibutani & Misaki Ohata [*]
--- Running around and doing their thing. A little bit Battlarts, but still very joshi and not really much sticking out except Oikawa managing to beat Shibutani very clean with a front necklock.
8:12 of 11:14 - Oikawa made Shibutani submit to a front necklock

6. Noriyo Tateno & Harley Saito -vs- Gami & Ayumi Kurihara [* 1/2]
--- I really wish they'd not done the bullshit comedy early on because after that this did become a nice 4th Anniversary Match for Kurihara facing the veteran LLPW team of Saito & Tateno. Kurihara gets beat up as usual, but her spirit lives while getting the trashing. And Saito delivering a released Tombstone on her was cool. Not much was left of Kurihara after that and all that was needed was a buster fisherman's style.
10:16 of 16:59 - Saito pinned Kurihara after a fisherman's buster

7. Ironman Title Royal Rumble [3/4*]
--- A wild rumble for the Ironman Title which changed hands before and during the match with champions such as a poster and a stuffed Jun Kasai doll as well as some wrestlers. This ranged from very embarrassing with invisable wrestlers, toys and bad comedy to mildly amusing as Big Japan's Numazawa was a guest holding the belt for a short while before Uematsu pinned him for it. In the end it was Bullfight Sora who won the Rumble and could leave as the 790th champ.
9:47 of 19:19 - Bullfight Sora win the Ironman Title Royal Rumble

8. Nanae Takahashi & Yumi Ohka -vs- Azumi Hyuga & Hanako Kobayashi [* 1/4]
--- Kobayashi wasn't at all good and ruined some of the early parts of the match all by herself, but once the climax portion of the match came this came alive. But with Ohka fighting Kobayashi for the finish the result wasn't all that surprising with Ohka using her Tiger Suplex again to grab the victory. Most of the quality came from the veterans in this match. Again not surprising.
10:29 of 18:52 - Ohka pinned Kobayashi with a Tiger Suplex

May 27, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (161 fans)

9. Ran Yu Yu & Shuu Shibutani -vs- Gami & Ayumi Kurihara [*]
--- Too much Gami nonesense kept a otherwise decent match down, but a reward at the end with the WAVE boss losing....
11:35 of 22:36 - Yu Yu pinned Gami after a elbow smash

June 10, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (138 fans)

10. Mima Shimoda & Kana -vs- Yumi Ohka & Moeka Haruhi [* 1/4]
--- Kind of messy and fun at the same time watching Shimoda bully Haruhi. At least Shimoda brought some personality to the rookie running around these matches consists of most of the time. Shimoda wins with what's become the most dangerous move in WAVE - the Tiger Suplex.
10:22 of 17:49 - Shimoda pinned Haruhi with a Tiger Suplex

June 20, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (176 fans)

11. Bullfight Sora & Fuka -vs- Gami & Moeka Haruhi [1/2*]
--- Mostly lame Gami comedy which is not good.... for anything.....
11:52 of 18:15 - Fuka pinned Gami with a modified schoolboy

June 28, 2009, Osaka World Hall (204 fans)

12. Toshie Uematsu & Kana -vs- Mio Shirai & Io Shirai [* 1/2]
--- Decent running around style joshi match keeping it mainly serious and with the energy up. Not science though. It was fairly standard for a modern joshi match, but anything without the dreadful comedy is a relief. The Shirai's worked hard, but no reward here as Uematsu was the cunning one using her modified small package.
8:37 of 11:23 - Uematsu pinned Mio with the Solarina small package

13. Sakura Candle (Yumi Ohka) & Policewoman -vs- noki-A & Bullfight Sora [1/2*]
--- Masked ladies match with Yumi Ohka wrestling under the Sakura Candle gimmick winning with the Candle Twist which is a version of the Cobra Twist. Not a very impressive match.
8:35 of 15:27 - Sakura made Sora submit to a Candle Twist

March 20, 2009, Osaka World Hall (199 fans)

14. Mio Shirai & Io Shirai -vs- Kyoko Kimura & Mikado - (Dual Duelist Young Tournament - Round 1) [* 1/4]
--- Tag tournament begins and it's the Shirai sisters against a very random team of wild Kimura and fatgirl Mikado. With Mikado there this would never reach any major climax, but the sisters worked hard enough to cover up for most of her short-comings. Huracanrana victory for the sisters.
7:06 of 13:41 - Io pinned Mikado with a huracanrana

15. Apple Miyuki & Cherry -vs- Kana & Chihiro Oikawa - (Dual Duelist Young Tournament - Round 1) [1/2*]
--- Didn't really establish much before Cherry locked in a sleeper out of nowhere for the win.
4:21 of 11:04 - Cherry made Oikawa submit to a sleeper

16. Moeka Haruhi & Tomoka Nakagawa -vs- Kayo Fujimori & HARU - (Dual Duelist Young Tournament - Round 1) [*]
--- Not exactly big names on the joshi scene, but Nakagawa and Fujimori somehow got a rather exciting finish with Fujimori nearly grabbing an upset before Nagakawa showed that she is the best girl in this match landing for once a good low-angle lariat to pin Fujimori.
6:23 of 13:48 - Nakagawa pinned Fujimori with a low angle lariat

17. Shu Shibutani & Ayumi Kurihara -vs- Hanako Kobayashi & Misaki Ohata - (Dual Duelist Young Tournament - Round 1) [* 3/4]
--- A inspired speedy cradle bout. Basic as it gets, but their hearts were into it and they tried their best to give the fans a exciting fight with countless near falls until they ran out of time. A re-start of course and more of the same happend until Kurihara managed to bust out some more advanced offence killing Ohata with a Hiroshi Hase throat slam suplex.
5:18 of 15:00 - Shibutani & Kurihara wrestled Kobayashi & Ohata to a 15:00 Time Limit Draw
2:35 of 2:51 - Kurihara pinned Ohata after a throat slam suplex

March 25, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (144 fans)

18. Moeka Haruhi & Tomoka Nakagawa -vs- Shuu Shibutani & Ayumi Kurihara - (Dual Duelist Young Tournament - Semi-Final) [*]
--- How could you Shibutani?! Lose to Haruhi of all people?! Booooo!
6:01 of 13:14 - Haruhi pinned Shibutani with a Victory Roll

April 4, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (182 fans)

19. Mio Shirai & Io Shirai -vs- Apple Miyuki & Cherry - (Dual Duelist Young Tournament - Semi-Final) [*]
--- Apple & Cherry looked strong early on in the match and looked to have it won a couple of times, but the sisters wasn't giving up and fought impressivebly back with Io knocking the Kaientai Dojo wrestlers down with the Purple Flash.
6:01 of 15:13 - Io pinned Miyuki after a jumping headkick

April 29, 2009, Tokyo - Shinjuku FACE (242 fans)

20. Mio Shirai & Io Shirai -vs- Moeka Haruhi & Tomoka Nakagawa - (Dual Duelist Young Tournament - Final/TLW Tag Title Decision) [* 3/4]
--- Final time and it was quite exciting. I'm still sure it would have been better had they let Shibutani & Kurihara beat Haruhi & Nakagawa in the semis, but this is what we got. They did work hard, espeically the sisters who made sure this one was at a better level then what they other two usually produce. It's still your basic joshi match with some highspots from the Shirais to spice things up a little before they won the tournament and also the newly created TLW Tag Titles with a simple schoolboy.
11:00 of 18:10 - Io pinned Haruhi with a schoolboy. Mio & Io become the 1st TLW Tag Champions.

COMMENTS: WAVE action covering March to June with the inclusion of the Dual Duelist Young Tournament at the end. Some decent action and some really lame action. Typical modern joshi.

WAVE on COMM - CATCH THE WAVE: May-August 2009 - (2 hrs)

May 27, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (161 fans)

1. Moeka Haruhi -vs- Pinky Mayuka - (Catch the WAVE - Young Block) [1/2*]
--- Very basic young girls cradle action. Nothing impressive and WAVE's Haruhi beats JWP's Pinky.
3:25 of 9:43 - Haruhi pinned Mayuka with a Victory Roll

June 10, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (138 fans)

2. Ayumi Kurihara -vs- Pinky Mayuka - (Catch the WAVE - Young Block)
--- Why so little shown? Didn't look like a very good match if that was the highlights. Draw and point-share.
0:46 of 15:00 - Kurihara wrestled Mayuka to a 15:00 Time Limit Draw
0:49 of 5:00 - Kurihara wrestled Mayuka to a 5:00 Time Limit Draw

June 28, 2009, Osaka World Hall (204 fans)

3. Ayumi Kurihara -vs- Moeka Haruhi - (Catch the WAVE - Young Block) [1/2*]
--- More cradle action. And again nothing special at all except Kurihara getting the pinfall this time. And so she should against Haruhi.
3:23 of 12:45 - Kurihara pinned Haruhi with a Marron Clutch

July 5, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (127 fans)

4. Ryo Mizunami -vs- Moeka Haruhi - (Catch the WAVE - Young Block)
--- Simple win for Sendai girl Mizunami.....
1:25 of 10:08 - Mizunami pinned Haruhi after a top rope legdrop

July 12, 2009, Fujieda City Renge-ji Temple (501 fans)

5. Ryo Mizunami -vs- Pinky Mayuka - (Catch the WAVE - Young Block)
--- ....but JWP's Pinky wasn't so easy to wrestle. A time limit draw.
0:00 of 15:00 - Mizumami wrestled Mayuka to a 15:00 Time Limit Draw
0:33 of 5:00 - Mizumami wrestled Mayuka to a 5:00 Time Limit Draw

July 22, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (130 fans)

6. Ayumi Kurihara -vs- Ryo Mizunami - (Catch the WAVE - Young Block) [* 1/2]
--- This was quite a good basic fight. Then again both have the experience now to be more advanced then the basic young girls wrestling. This was a hard struggle for both and they gave it a lot, but no cookie. A double draw. And the Young Block goes to a decider between the same wrestlers....
3:52 of 15:00 - Kurihara wrestled Mizumami to a 15:00 Time Limit Draw
2:57 of 5:00 - Kurihara wrestled Mizumami to a 5:00 Time Limit Draw

August 10, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (148 fans)

7. Ayumi Kurihara -vs- Ryo Mizunami - (Catch the WAVE - Young Block - Decision) [* 1/4]
--- The re-match had a different story. Sendai's Mizunami had a hurting leg which slowed her down a lot and she was always looking in pain. And even if she didn't look like much of a threat to Kurihara they played it out with Mizunami being the one on attack managing to over-come her disability. But with the pain making her move in turtle speed she was eventually going to get caught by the speedy rabbit. And once unable to move away from Kurihara's attacks the match was soon over.
4:46 of 9:44 - Kurihara pinned Mizunami after a dropkick

May 27, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (161 fans)

8. Kyoko Kimura -vs- Kana - (Catch the WAVE - UK Block) [* 1/2]
--- Then for the UK block and it's a more direct and hard hitting style. Almost MMA at times and they worked stiff as hell like in their infamous 2008 WAVE match. Good to see someone still try and work a passionate stiff style in a company like this. A lot of hard blows of all kinds until the short 10-min time limit expired. One point each.
3:59 of 10:00 - Kimura wrestled Kana to a 10:00 Time Limit Draw

June 10, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (138 fans)

9. Misaki Ohata -vs- Shuu Shibutani - (Catch the WAVE - UK Block)
--- These two girls connected well too with hard attacks and submission work being in focus. Sadly it didn't have the speed to take off, but it had some good stand-alone moments before Ohata grabbed the submission victory with a kind of grounded Cobra Twist.
1:48 of 8:54 - Ohata made Shibutani submit to the Fairy Lock

June 20, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (176 fans)

10. Kana -vs- Misaki Ohata - (Catch the WAVE - UK Block)
--- Kana worked stiff again against the smaller girl who was a easy target for the kicks. Kana was maybe a little too scared to land the stiff offence which wasn't optimal for the actual execution of a lot of the blows, but at least they gave it a good shot. Kana lands enough kicks to beat the little one juts a few seconds before the time limit.
2:44 of 9:39 - Kana defeated Ohata by KO after a highkick

June 28, 2009, Osaka World Hall (204 fans)

11. Shuu Shibutani -vs- Kyoko Kimura - (Catch the WAVE - UK Block)
--- Only the last seconds shows of a draw.
0:12 of 10:00 - Shiburani wrestled Kimura to a 10:00 Time Limit Draw

July 5, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (127 fans)

12. Kana -vs- Shuu Shibutani - (Catch the WAVE - UK Block) [* 1/4]
--- Kana was the driving force in this one and deservingly won after attacking, attacking, attacking. Once she's weakend Shibutani enough it was time to lock her in the submission for the tap just 8 seconds from time.
4:43 of 9:52 - Kana made Shibutani submit to the Kanagon Sleeper

July 22, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (130 fans)

13. Kyoko Kimura -vs- Misaki Ohata - (Catch the WAVE - UK Block)
--- Ohata tried her best, but up against a power brawler like Kimura she in reality didn't stand a chance. Sleeper time!
2:20 of 7:38 - Kimura made Ohata submit to a sleeper

May 27, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (161 fans)

14. Yumi Ohka -vs- Toshie Uematsu - (Catch the WAVE - Technical Visual Block) [3/4*]
--- Fairly standard modern joshi wrestling with a 15-min time limit in this Technical Visual Block. And it's the Uematsu cradles and typical Ohka stuff we get. Nothing new at all except that Ohka is higher ranked then Uematsu in WAVE and gets the flash pin win.
3:52 of 11:21 - Ohka pinned Uematsu with a corss-arm jack knife cradle

June 10, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (138 fans)

15. Kaoru -vs- Apple Miyuki - (Catch the WAVE - Technical Visual Block)
--- Kaoru totally demolished Apple with table shots and Excalibers before landing the twisting sentong off the top.
2:06 of 11:06 - Kaoru pinned Miyuki after the Valkyrie Splash

June 20, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (176 fans)

16. Kaoru -vs- Toshie Uematsu - (Catch the WAVE - Technical Visual Block)
--- Veteran cradle wrestling to a unsatifying draw....
1:19 of 15:00 - Kaoru wrestled Uematsu to a 15:00 Time Limit Draw

July 5, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (127 fans)

17. Apple Miyuki -vs- Yumi Ohka - (Catch the WAVE - Technical Visual Block) [3/4*]
--- Modern joshi to a T. Kind of surprising that Kaientai Dojo's Apple Miyuki got the upset, but then again WAVE isn't exactly known for protecting their beauty fighter.
3:43 of 10:19 - Miyuki pinned Ohka with a small package

July 22, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (130 fans)

18. Toshie Uematsu -vs- Apple Miyuki - (Catch the WAVE - Technical Visual Block)
--- Not too impressive wrestling, but they got the finish clear as Miyuki tried her luck with the small package again, but Uematsu was waiting for it and reversed it into a package of her own for the count.
1:51 of 11:19 - Uematsu pinned Miyuki with a small package reversal

August 10, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (148 fans)

19. Yumi Ohka -vs- Kaoru - (Catch the WAVE - Technical Visual Block) [*]
--- Neither of these girls are known for being technical beauties, but they worked in some good energy as Kaoru's table piece came into play along with a nasty MDII from the veteran. Kaoru looked in charge, but ended up losing to WAVE's favorite.
4:51 of 10:16 - Ohka pinned Kaoru with a reversed cradle

May 27, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (161 fans)

20. Bullfight Sora -vs- Cherry - (Catch the WAVE - Comical Block) [1/4*]
--- The dreaded comedy group stage of the tournament. Milk, imaginary wrestlers, toy baseball bat and so on.... and they went 15 minutes to a draw. I'm so glad this was edited down.
3:03 of 15:00 - Sora wrestled Cherry to a 15:00 Time Limit Draw

June 10, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (138 fans)

21. Gami -vs- Cherry - (Catch the WAVE - Comical Block; Bat vs. Megaphone Barbed Wire Lumberjack Comical Death Match) [1/4*]
--- Painful. And I'm not talking about the barbed wire they used in this match.
3:11 of 15:00 - Gami wrestled Cherry to a 15:00 Time Limit Draw

June 20, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (176 fans)

22. Ran Yu Yu -vs- Cherry - (Catch the WAVE - Comical Block; Silent Comical Death Match)
--- Highlight was referee Tommy getting stockings thread over her head. Cherry also used a pizza cutter and a toilet plunger. That tells you all you need to know....
2:33 of 15:00 - Yu Yu wrestled Cherry to a 15:00 Time Limit Draw

June 28, 2009, Osaka World Hall (204 fans)

23. Gami -vs- Ran Yu Yu - (Catch the WAVE - Comical Block)
--- The poor crowd having to sit through all these long comedy draws.....
2:39 of 15:00 - Gami wrestled Yu Yu to a 15:00 Time Limit Draw

July 5, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (127 fans)

24. Gami -vs- Bullfight Sora - (Catch the WAVE - Comical Block) [1/4*]
--- A parody explosion match with party poppers replacing the bangs. They also brough in a BALLOON BOARD!!! Brutal.....it really was....
4:06 of 15:00 - Gami wrestled Sora to a 15:00 Time Limit Draw

July 22, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (130 fans)

25. Ran Yu Yu -vs- Bullfight Sora - (Catch the WAVE - Comical Block; Slow Motion Comical Death Match) [1/4*]
--- Yes, slo-mo fighting.....to a 15-min draw. Glad they didn't slow down the time too....
3:23 of 15:00 - Yu Yu wrestled Sora to a 15:00 Time Limit Draw

August 10, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING (148 fans)

26. Bullfight Sora -vs- Gami -vs- Ran Yu Yu -vs- Cherry - (Catch the WAVE - Comical Block; 4-Way Elimination) [1/4*]
--- Yes, lets add all the silly bits from the group matches for the decider. Replay comedy brutality...... with the damn cow winning.
8:20 - Sora/Gami/Cherry eliminated Yu Yu via Over The Top Rope
11:05 - Sora/Gami eliminated Cherry via Over The Top Rope
6:45 of 17:41 - Sora pinned Gami with a huracanrana

August 11, 2009, Tokyo - Shin-Kiba 1st RING

27. Ayumi Kurihara -vs- Bullfight Sora - (Catch the WAVE - Semi-Final) [3/4*]
--- Damn, that cow! She got way too many near wins here. I'm just thankful Kurihara was awarded the win even if she didn't kill the cow.....
3:36 of 4:24 - Kurihara pinned Sora with the Marron Clutch

28. Yumi Ohka -vs- Kana - (Catch the WAVE - Semi-Final) [* 1/4]
--- A struggle for both. Mainly for Ohka though who got knocked down again and again and didn't look comfortable with the submission wrestling going on either, looking kind of irritated at Kana and her hard hitting style. They got a ok match out of it even if it wasn't a wrestling marvel. Ohka got to win after a long fight bombing Kana down.
7:45 of 15:39 - Ohka pinned Kana with a neck-hanging bomb

29. Yumi Ohka -vs- Ayumi Kurihara - (Catch the WAVE - Final) [**]
--- Final time and even if Ohka had just wrestled over 15 minutes compared to Kurihara's 5, they pulled off a long final-worthy bout giving this mixed tournament a good ending. They pulled out a lot of their big stuff aswell as displaying that fighting spirit and exhaustion as they beat each other up. Kurihara kicked out of the neck-hanging bomb and Ohka survivied the Marron Clutch. Neither Ohka's big boot got a result. But as we know now, Ohka's main finisher these days is the Tiger Suplex and once that one landed it was over and Yumi Ohka could celebrate the Catch the WAVE tournament win!
9:11 of 17:25 - Ohka pinned Kurihara with a Tiger Suplex to win the Catch the WAVE tournament.

COMMENTS: Heavily edited tournament as WAVE shows the main happenings in all of the Catch the WAVE tournament matches. I'm glad they didn't decide to release this tournament unedited. That Comedy Block looked painful....

WAVE on COMM - 2ND ANNIVERSARY: August 23, 2009, Tokyo - (2 hrs)

August 23, 2009, Tokyo - Shinjuku FACE 403 fans)

1. Moeka Haruhi -vs- Yukari Ishino [3/4*]
--- Basic young girls fighting. Nothing impressive and rather very ordinary somewhat energetic girls fighting in which WAVE's own Haruhi sadly stole the win with a leg-hook rolled up cradle. Sendai Girls Ishino deserves better then that.
8:59 of 10:01 - Haruhi pinned Ishino with a Gannosuke Clutch

2. Ran Yu Yu & Toshie Uematsu -vs- Mio Shirai & Io Shirai [*]
--- Two fairly established teams and I must say they didn't get too much out of this one. Most of the first half was basically nothing of interest and once they started going all over the place they didn't really do anything special there either. And to top it off they ended with a screwjob.
13:09 of 16:15 - Yu Yu & Uematsu defeated Mio & Io by Count Out

3. Kana & Megumi Yabushita -vs- Shuu Shibutani & Mika [* 1/2]
--- I feel sorry for them. Especially for Kana and Shibutani who where really fighting! But they had Mika in the match and they couldn't do anything with her. How frustrating it was to watch her destory the match so much while the others where working hard to make this a memorable one. Instead it was a disaster when Mika was in and going for saves as they always had to wait for her. Of well, this UK/Battlarts style match ended with Yabushita trapping Shibutani with a Kimura armlock and headscissor combined with no Mika to make the save.
12:46 of 21:28 - Yabushita made Shibutani submit to a modified armlock/headscissors

4. 11-Women Royal Rumble [* 1/4]
--- Rumble time with guest appearences from Azumi Hyuga, Dump Matsumoto and Noriyo Tateno as the highlights. This is one of the rare joshi royals that doesn't dwell too much into the shitty comedy! Surprise surprise. Not that a rumble will ever be a super match. At least they kept the action coming while giving the younger girls a chance to look good, especially Ohata who ended up winning the thing last pinning Sendai Girls Ryo Mizunami.
18:10 of 18:51 - Misaki Ohata win the 11-Women Royal Rumble

5. Gami & Cherry & Bullfight Sora -vs- Manami Toyota & Kaoru & Takako Inoue [1/2*]
--- Then for the stupidity of slow-motion rules and imaginary wrestlers interfering..... God, please stop this.... And Toyota jobs to Gami.... Perfect day.
16:04 of 17:47 - Gami pinned Toyota with a small package

6. Aja Kong -vs- Yumi Ohka [**]
--- Over! Matched! Yes, Ohka. You rarely win any big matches and you face Aja on WAVE's 2nd Anniversary Show. Not a wise choice as she got beat up royaly! Aja was stiff with her throwing chairs full force over her head and laying in the kicks and what-not. Sure, Ohka got her comeback because of Aja's stamina issues and got in a Bloody-Ex submission as well as a couple of nice suplexes on the big old lady. But nah, she wasn't going to defeat the all-mighty Aja and once the Uraken landed in Ohka's face it was time for the 3-count.
16:40 of 19:40 - Kong pinned Ohka after a Uraken

COMMENTS: WAVE celebrating it's 2nd Anniversary with a decent show. Nothing mindblowing except the damn comedy in the Gami match.

WAVE on COMM - OSAKA RHAPSODY 7: September 22, 2009, Osaka - (1 1/2 hrs)

September 22, 2009, Osaka Move On Minami Arena (274 fans)

1. Shuu Shibutani & Misaki Ohata -vs- Moeka Haruhi & Hanako Kobayashi [* 1/2]
--- Run, run, run, run..... Yeah, you're modern women's wrestling. Full of energy and no meaning. Still this was one of the better joshi action matches from the younger girls associated with WAVE. They kept it moving with loads of pinfall attempts and back and forth fighting until Shibutani landed a hard senton for the pin. Still a little too basic to become anything great.
12:08 of 16:29 - Shibutani pinned Haruhi after a top rope senton

2. Mio Shirai & Atsushi Kotoge -vs- Gami & Kanjyouro Matsuyama [1/2*]
--- Comedy of course as WAVE wrestlers mix with Osaka Pro guys. And it's all about the rape attempts with the most disguisting thing being Gami malesting poor Kotoge, even ripping off her t-shirt getting ready for action. Thankfully she was stopped before it got too uncomfortable. Does it even matter who won...?
13:47 of 16:08 - Kotoge pinned Matsuyama after a Ace Crusher

3. Kaoru & Yumi Ohka -vs- Cherry & Bullfight Sora [3/4*]
--- A lot of the Slow Motion rule.... which only made the match longer and more painfull. A tiny bit of fun, but they could have done the same shit in half the time if they wanted.
17:13 of 17:38 - Ohka pinned Sora with a neck hanging bomb

4. Toshie Uematsu -vs- Ryo Mizunami [*]
--- Uematsu using her experience to take care of Mizunami. Decent and all, but really nothing special or anything standing out.
11:10 of 12:26 - Uematsu pinned Mizunami with a Solarina small package

5. Kaoru Ito & Policewoman & Yukari Ishino -vs- Ran Yu Yu & Kana & Gami [* 3/4]
--- If you look away from the first quarter of the match where Policewoman showet off her pussy wrestling, the match was fairly entertaining. Not a beauty of a match, but it ended on a happy note with Ito stomping Gami to death! If only they'd gotten rid of Policewoman (NEO's Yuki Miyazaki) the match would have been better, but hey it's Osaka and they had to have a familiar face to Osaka which was Policewoman's home before.
21:41 of 24:28 - Ito pinned Gami after a top rope double-footstomp

COMMENTS: WAVE visit Osaka for a half-decent show. I guess this would be the WAVE standard. Basic young girls fighting and bad comedy along with lazy veterans.

GAMI LIBRE 5 on COMM - November 1, 2009, Tokyo - (2 hrs)

November 1, 2009, Tokyo - Shinjuku FACE (490 fans)

1. Gami & Yumi Ohka -vs- Misaki Ohata & Moeka Haruhi [*]
--- Gami celebrating her 20th Anniversary with a 6-match show with each match representing a company she's worked for. First off is her current project WAVE and it's a decent throw-away match. Basic joshi action and lazy Gami stuff until Ohka took care of business.
8:13 of 8:12 - Ohka pinned Haruhi with a Tiger Suplex

2. 14-Woman Royal Rumble [* 1/4]
--- Representing her The Woman days comes a 14-women Rumble which was quite entertaining featuring all kinds of wrestlers like the tranny guys Reika & Bachiko. One of the most surprising things was when Reika landed a Go Flasher! Funniest thing was when everybody put on Azumi Hyuga vorts as the lady entered the ring! One hoped she'd win the Rumble after they'd been so crule to her, but fellow JWP graduate Yuki Miyazaki ruined her day even more. Gami was in for a minute being the first to get eliminated.
21:04 of 22:06 - Yuki Miyazaki win the 14-Woman Royal Rumble

3. Yumiko Hotta & Kana -vs- Sachie Abe & Bullfight Sora [*]
--- Hotta's AtoZ lives. Thankfully only for this match and it didn't last long. Only giving Hotta a easy win over the damn cow.
8:06 of 8:09 - Hotta pinned Sora with a Tiger Driver

4. Aja Kong & Akino -vs- Gami & Tojuki Leon [* 1/4]
--- Gami re-living her ARSION years! And special referee was Mariko Yoshida! And Yoshida did get a little in on the action booting Gami straight in the face! Otherwise this was a very standard piece of work with Aja blocking Gami's fingers to the eyes before backfisting her down for the three.
8:54 of 8:54 - Kong pinned Gami after a Uraken

5. Noriyo Tateno -vs- Harley Saito [3/4*]
--- This match celebrates Gami's LLPW days. Didn't include her though. Not a bad match. Just a very rushed one, if one can say they're rushing at their age. It was only a quickie with Tateno picking up the win cradle wise.
6:13 of 6:12 - Tateno pinned Saito with a small package

6. Hikari Fukuoka & Sumiko Saito & Commando Bolshoi -vs- Gami & Yasha Kurenai & Mizuki Endo [** 3/4]
--- Then to where Gami's career started. In the original JWP! Gami received gifts from Rie Tamada and Shinobu Kandori before the bout. And for this special match they bring back SUMIKO SAITO, HIKARI FUKUOKA and YASHA KURENAI out from retirement! Fukuoka & Kurenai have been out of the business 10 years and Saito around 17 years. So a really special match. That's why it had to last 86 seconds before the clown pinned the anniversary lady! Ok, that's always a sign for a re-start and the retired ladies stole the show. It was so great seeing them back in action. Kurenai with her kendo stick full of energy. Saito do her Capture Suplex wonderfully and last but not least Fukuoka do the ganso moonsault footstomp to beat Gami! Didn't land 100%, but still Fukuoka showed good form and not too much ring rust in this match. But the match couldn't stop there. We had to have the happy Gami end, so the fun continues with Fukuoka landing her top rope summersault dropkick and loads more action. It's so strange seeing how much these old wrestlers who's been out of the business so long still understand more then most current wrestlers what makes a match live! They also had a bunch of wrestlers, active and retired, attack Gami including EAGLE SAWAI! This match really made me happy even if Gami finally got her win on the 3rd attempt with fingers to the eyes from Yasha and a small package.
1:27 of 1:26 - Bolshoi pinned Gami with a Kido Clutch
6:07 of 6:11 - Fukuoka pinned Gami after a top rope moonsault footstomp
11:06 of 9:05 - Gami pinned Bolshoi with a small package

COMMENTS: 20 years of Gami. Hey, only half of them have been bad! The main event was a true show stealer. Bringing back ladies like Hikari Fukuoka, Yasa Kurenai and Sumiko Saito really made this one of the most special joshi matches of 2009. Absolutely lovely to see them again!

Ice Ribbon on COMM - November 7-28, 2009, Warabi City - (1 1/2 hrs)

November 7, 2009, Warabi City Isami Wrestle Budokan Hall

1. Kazumi Shimouma -vs- Hamuko Hoshi [*]
--- A match between two equals. Both annoying, heavy screamers with just about the same skill level. Two of the best to come out of Ice Ribbon, without that entrusting too much in their abillity. However Hoshi did have a couple of real close and good landings for near falls and it was a competitive fight even if Shimouma won it with a counter cradle.
9:38 of 14:37 - Shimouma pinned Hoshi after modified side clutch

November 13, 2009, Warabi City Isami Wrestle Budokan Hall

2. Makoto -vs- Io Shirai [*]
--- Basic and half-slow rush match which ended with a typical cradle battle once the time limit was running out. It had it's moments and it was fairly professional looking considering it's Makoto in there. Still it ended in a draw.
10:01 of 10:00 - Makoto wrestled Shirai to a 10:00 Time Limit Draw

November 14, 2009, Warabi City Isami Wrestle Budokan Hall

3. Natsuki*Taiyo -vs- Tsukasa Fujimoto -vs- Nanae Takahashi - (3-Way) [* 1/4]
--- Even with Fujimoto in there it becamse a fun little match where the Passion Red girls did enough cool stuff to make the match more then watchable with Fujimoto following nicely even if she did slow it up a few times in her unprofessional ways. Natsuki gets the win with a nice moonsault!
10:29 of 10:28 - Natsuki pinned Fujimoto after a moonsault

November 21, 2009, Warabi City Isami Wrestle Budokan Hall

4. Kazumi Shimouma & Hamuko Hoshi -vs- Emi Sakura & Mai Ichii [1/2*]
--- This one wasn't much to brag about. More a match to get the Shimouma & Hoshi combo over with them winning. Kind of fitting that Shimouma messed up her finishing cradle and had to improvice to beat Ichii.
9:00 of 13:32 - Shimouma pinned Ichii after a modified Samoan Drop

November 22, 2009, Warabi City Isami Wrestle Budokan Hall

5. Emi Sakura -vs- Kazumi Shimouma [*]
--- The Ice Ribbon fans loved this as Shimouma was fighting to stay in there with Samura. I was more luke warm, but it did have it's moments including a ridiculous one as Shimouma kicked out of a Tiger Driver '91! Though it wasn't long before Sakura had it won with La Magistrals.
9:12 of 15:32 - Sakura pinned Shimouma with a La Magistral

November 27, 2009, Warabi City Isami Wrestle Budokan Hall

6. Azumi Hyuga -vs- Emi Sakura [* 1/4]
--- Decent action and all, but a lot of the time it felt like they were just stumbling through a match. Plus the arena atmosphere felt very dry. A couple of nice moves like Sakura's Tiger Driver and Hyuga's top rope double-arm suplex along with Hyuga reluctantly doing a Sakura ass-wiggle was pure class. Hyuga got the expected fall and she did so using the MDII.
8:27 of 16:14 - Hyuga pinned Sakura after a Michinoku Driver II

November 28, 2009, Warabi City Isami Wrestle Budokan Hall

7. Azumi Hyuga -vs- Emi Sakura [* 3/4]
--- Probable the best match I've seen happen in the Warabi City Isami Wrestle Budokan Hall. Hey! It's Hyuga! Of course it was going to be good. Sakura landed finisher up-on finisher on the retiring JWP girl, but none of them worked. So Hyuga rolled her up for a pin instead. Well, Sakura wasn't 100% healthy. Some kind of back/rib problem resulted in her taking a small timeout and worked wounded being slowed down by the (legit?) pain which ended up becoming a vital part of the bout as Hyuga would go after it a little too. So all in all a good match in a tiny arena.
18:04 of 18:03 - Hyuga pinned Sakura with a leg-hook side roll-up

COMMENTS: "Important" Ice Ribbon matches from the month of November 2009. At least this kind of commercial release format keeps away the real shitting idol matches.

Ice Ribbon on COMM - November 23, 2009, Osaka - (1 3/4 hrs)

November 23, 2009, Osaka

1. Minori Makiba -vs- Hikari Minami [1/2*]
--- Minami went to the ropes a lot leeping off, but she also fell off and mis-timed some of the jumps looking very foolish. Most of what she did looked fairly bad and she made Makiba look like a seasoned pro. Only fitting that the fat girl won.
8:05 of 8:00 - Makiba pinned Minami with a cradle

2. Chii Tomiya -vs- Haruna Akagi [1/2*]
--- Typical amateur cradle frenzy we usually get from Ice Ribbon amateurs. Tomiya gets the win even if Akagi almost looked more professional. Almost, but not almost professional looking....if you get my drift
6:33 of 6:42 - Tomiya pinned Akagi with a forward rolling cradle

3. Riho -vs- Miyako Matsumoto [1/4*]
--- Riho's birthday is June 4, 1997 if anyone was wondering. And she looked MUCH more like a wrestler then the 12 years older Matsumoto and her stupid stuff. But that didn't prevent this from being terrible. Thankfully the 12 year old won.
7:02 of 7:08 - Riho pinned Matsumoto with a Northern Light Suplex

4. Fuka & Makoto -vs- Nanae Takahashi & Mai Ichii [* 1/2]
--- Finally something looking like a wrestling match done by at least some people who know how to wrestle. Only Ichii's silly over-eager ways kept the match down, but that made for a happy fallgirl ending as Makoto beat her with a German Suplex. Nanae was on form giving Fuka a nice little beating aswell, so it was Makoto who had to take care of business and I know she's more serious these days, but that doesn't stop me from being surprised everytime she does a move that looks half-good! Here she landed a nice neck-hanging bomb and a top rope rolling senton to wow the crowd.
13:23 of 13:35 - Makoto pinned Ichii with a German Suplex

5. Tsukasa Fujimoto -vs- Hikari Shida [*]
--- Back to the Ice Ribbon weakness. Ok, better then expected, but plenty to critisize here too. But they kept the formula alive. Basic joshi action with the near falls and some cool kicking moves from Fujimoto at the end saving the overall impression as she beats the taller Shida.
13:27 of 13:30 - Fujimoto pinned Shida after a climbing top rope enzuigiri kick

6. Emi Sakura & Kaori Yoneyama (c) -vs- Kazumi Shimouma & Hamuko Hoshi - (Ice Ribbon International Tag Title) [* 3/4]
--- Sakura & Yoneyama made sure their challengers looked like stars giving them almost all the spotlight in their energetic and partly annoying ways. Regardless of the screaming and simple wrestling the Hoshi & Shimouma combo was fairly credible as they took on the more veteran side and gave them a good run for their money. They fought bravely, but it was going to take a lot for them to win at this point and when Sakura landed the Firebird Splash it was over for the Ice Ribbon team.
17:10 of 17:40 - Sakura pinned Shimouma after a Firebird Splash. Sakura & Yoneyama retain the Ice Ribbon International Tag Title.

7. 16-Woman Royal Rumble [*]
--- And they had to end the show with a happy Rumble with everyone from the show getting involved..... The tall red one won even if the real stars of the Rumble was Nanae and Riho.
12:45 - Hikari Shida win the 16-Woman Royal Rumble

COMMENTS: A couple of ok matches featuring veterans. The rest pretty much Ice Ribbon shyt.

SENDAI GIRLS on Samurai TV - December 20, 2009 & January 31, 2010, Sendai - (2 hrs)

December 20, 2009, Sendai - Zepp Sendai (700 fans)

1. Yukari Ishino -vs- Hamuko Hoshi [*]
--- Sendai Girls vs Ice Ribbon. Basic. Energetic. Solid based off the final portion of the match that aired. Competitive with dropkicks and things like that until the home girl landed a Samoan Drop to beat the chubby Ice Ribbon lady.
4:03 of 12:08 - Ishino pinned Hoshi after a Blockbuster

2. Dash Chisako -vs- Esui [*]
--- The punked up Dash taking on the tall Mongolian lady Esui for a half-decent fight. Never too fantastic, but Esui did go on the attack and didn't look as awkward as usual. Still awkward though. Dash was the victor catching Esui in a cross-armbreaker Esui tapped out twice to!
6:45 of 12:57 - Chisako made Esui submit to a cross-armbreaker

3. Misaki Ohata (c) -vs- Ryo Mizunami - (JWP Junior/POP Titles) [**]
--- Mizunami challenging for the main junior crowns on the joshi scene these days which Ohata the underdog holds. Well, Ohata has become a ok wrestler after winning these belts and this turned into a fine match with Ohata landing all her dangerous stuff without managing to beat her challenger. Mizunami liked to use the shoulder hold, but the decision came from one of many legdrops. Though it was the biggest legdrop high off the top rope. And that makes Mizunami a double champion and deservingly so!
6:48 of 12:42 - Mizunami pinned Ohata after a top rope legdrop to become the 18th JWP Junior Champion & 8th POP Champion.

4. Meiko Satomura -vs- Azumi Hyuga [** 1/4]
--- Hyuga seriously injured Satomura's eye in 2007 with a knee kick and has been out with injuries nearly non-stop ever since and her comes the conclution/revenge in a one-on-one match just a week before Hyuga retires. And it was a slow builder. And I guess that was the right deicison as Satomura hadn't wrestled for 6 months or so and Hyuga has a weak leg. Satomura went after the leg, but mostly arm work early on. To me the match never reached the high level we are used to from these two fantastic workers, but under the circumstances it's easy to understand. It still felt special and we got a Satomura win using a strange cross-arm lock to choke Hyuga out.
16:39 of 16:47 - Satomura defeated Hyuga by Referee Stop with a modified cross-arm sleeper hold

January 31, 2010, Sendai - Zepp Sendai (600 fans)

5. Dynamite Kansai -vs- Kagetu (Yukari Ishino) [* 1/4]
--- Yukari Ishino's new name has been decided. It's now Kagetu! Well, that didn't help against the super veteran Dynamite Kansai who squashed her royally. Kageto did get in a few nice dropkicks to Kansai's face, but Kansai repayed her for that with kicks and stiff lariats before the footstomp of doom landed!
5:21 of 7:15 - Kansai pinned Kageto after a top rope double-footstomp/senton

6. Fuka -vs- Dash Chisako [*]
--- Weak girls fighting. Energy yes. Fuka ego win, even if she's retiring in a couple of months, yes. Loads of cradles and Dash did get to kick out of the enzuigiri kick of Fuka, but Fuka knows the Gedo Clutch and beat the Sendai Girl that way.
5:09 of 10:52 - Fuka pinned Chisako with a Gedo Clutch

7. Meiko Satomura & Kana -vs- Dash Chisako & Kagetu [* 3/4]
--- Kagetu & Dash, two girls who's already been beaten on this show to outsiders, teaming to take on the company ace Satomura and Passion Red's Kana. And here they get a trashing again. Kagetu got in more in this match then against Kansai, but she still ended up being the jobber....to an outsider....again. Solid match, but you can't help feel sorry for the young Sendai Girls with no political strenght.
11:25 of 16:39 - Kana pinned Kagetu after a spinkick

8. Ryo Mizunami (c) -vs- Aya Yuki - (JWP Junior/POP Titles) [*]
--- Mizunami making her first defence of the junior belts she won from Ohata and it's NEO's Aya Yuki who challenges. And that was fairly shit. They tried to do it in a heavyweight manner as both ladies are fairly big for their generation, but it was fairly dull and they didn't get the big moments to count much. Yuki is a master at sucking out the life of any match! And she sure did that here being the one on attack trying to win the belts. Thankfully she didn't and Mizunami could lock her in the shoulder/headlock submission to beat the NEO girl.
6:05 of 15:45 - Mizunami made Yuki submit to a shoulder hold to retain the JWP Junior/POP Title in her 1st defence.

COMMENTS: Sendai doesn't get many shows taped so it's nice to get a 2-for-1 type deal here for a 2 hour Samurai TV slot. The promotions suffers a lot from the injury bug so it's only 4 real Sendai Girls wrestlers on these shows having to do double-duty aswell to fill out the small 4 match cards. Nice to see Mizunami get a chance to shine with her generation even if I could have done without the Aya Yuki fight. Satomura vs Hyuga farewell match was kind of special, but missed the real highlights to make it a classic.

NJPW/CMLL - JUSHIN LIGER IN MEXICO VOL 1 - September 2009 - (2 hrs)

September 11, 2009, Arena Mexico

1. Jushin Liger & Tetsuya Naito & Yujiro -vs- Atlantis & Black Warrior & Ultimo Guerrero [**]
--- Liger is back in Mexico and he's teaming with the beefed and heeled up No Limit. It's been a while since I've seen lucha libre, so my first shock was seeing Black Warrior without his mask looking like a street bum. He looked so out of place with the veteran masked guys Atlantis and Ultimo Guerrero. And Liger showed he can still be a heel low blowing Ultimo for the 3rd and final fall to win the match for the Japon side.
2:08 - Liger/Naito/Yujiro defeated Atlantis/Black Warrior/Guerrero
3:30 - Atlantis/Black Warrior/Guerrero defeated Liger/Naito/Yujiro
5:11 - Liger pinned Guerrero after a low blow

September 13, 2009, Arena Coliseo

2. Jushin Liger & Tetsuya Naito & Yujiro -vs- Mistico & La Sombra & Volador Jr [** 1/4]
--- Liger is after Mistico's IWGP Junior belt and starts his mission here taunting the little rascal. Again the low blow worked for Liger before slaming Mistico down with a Ligerbomb to win the all-important last caida. No Limit are doing a really cool job getting over as heels with Naito doing the big eye thing to create some good old rasism heat.
2:46 - Liger/Naito/Yujiro defeated Mistico/Sombra/Volador
3:44 - Mistico/Sombra/Volador defeated Liger/Naito/Yujiro
6:55 - Liger pinned Mistico with a Ligerbomb

September 14, 2009, Arena Puebla

3. Jushin Liger & Tetsuya Naito & Yujiro -vs- Blue Panther & Mistico & Hector Garza [**]
--- First time seeing Blue Panther without that legendary mask. Well, his face looks almost like what the mask looked like so it wasn't too much of a difference, yet it didn't look 100% right seeing him without the mask. Liger nearly crippled him with a brainbuster sending the super veteran out on a streacher in the first fall. Liger continues his taunting of Mistico pulling off his mask for the DQ in the final fall. Funniest bit was Naito getting his eye picked while doing the eye taunt.
4:36 - Liger/Naito/Yujiro defeated Panther/Mistico/Garza
5:41 - Panther/Mistico/Garza defeted Liger/Naito/Yujiro
8:17 - Mistico defeated Liger by DQ/Liger pulled off Mistico's mask.

- Jushin Liger and Shigeo Okumura on 3rd Caida show.

COMMENTS: First of a 2 volume compitaion of Joshin Liger's September 2009 tour of Mexico. Cool to see the Japanese mix with the luchadors in the lucha libre stars right environment.
